Stage racing is a mountain biking discipline wherein teams complete multiple stages consecutively. The stages may be point to point, or may start and finish in the same location. Epic Series events tend to feature both point to point stages and stages that start and finish at the same location, but they all aim to showcase the best trails that the region has to offer.
